In this pump two 8 shaped lobes rotate at right angles to each other at high speed to create vacuum. This is also called mechanical booster pump.

Vapour Jet Booster Pump

In this pump the working fluid Vapour jet Booster Pump oil is heated, vaporized, compressed and then released at high pressure through jets to create high vacuum. This pump works quite like Diffusion Pump except that vacuum level is lower but vacuum is created faster.
